Remember Me

This powerful Dancenorth production merges live music with film, theatre and dance to create a work of great tenderness and nostalgia. Documenting a lifestyle of weekly social dancing that has largely disappeared from modern Australian life, Remember Me evokes eternal themes of age, life and death.

Two generations meet through the joy of dance, discovering that in the cycle of life there will always be the same memories and premonitions. Iain Grandage's exquisite score is interpreted by Gavin Webber's intensely physical choreography, to create a compelling performance of poignant beauty that will live long in the memory.
