Queensland at Home
A time capsule of vintage film, photos and audio with Live Music by Topology. Queensland at Home intertwines contemporary music performance with footage and oral histories from the State Library of Queensland archives dating back to the early 20th century.
Robert Davidson has brought together a compelling compilation of Queenslanders engaging in everyday activities.
Musical adventurists Topology, who are increasingly recognised as one of Australia’s leading new music ensembles in contemporary art music, have created a new work inspired by the sights and sounds of times past. Performing live, Topology's music is woven together with the projected visuals to create an evocative portrait of life in Queensland.
As the State looks back at its 150 years of history, Queensland at Home reveals the extraordinary in the ordinary.
