Kimmo Pohjonen

Earth Machine Music

Lock up your tractors!

An electrifying live concert by Finnish adventurist and accordion virtuoso Kimmo Pohjonen using the raw sounds of live farm machinery. Each concert is a unique work. Local farmers and machine operators will participate with Kimmo in outdoor performances featuring equipment and sounds sourced from the local area.

Earth Machine Music has captivated audiences across the UK and makes its Australian premiere at the Queensland Music Festival.

Dubbed the “Jimi Hendrix of the accordion”, Kimmo is a charismatic musician who has re-invented the traditional concept of the accordion as a solo instrument to create a unique and unforgettable show.
