If a broad range of experience is a necessity for any singer-songwriter to draw on, then Tyrone Noonan has kick-started his solo career in an enviable position.
As co-vocalist, instrumentalist and composer for george, one of Australia's most eloved bands of recent times, it would have been easy for Noonan to rest on his laurels. After all Tyrone knows how it feels to sit at the apex of the Australian music industry, to win an ARIA award, to play in front of a TV audience of billions (Rugby World Cup), to represent his country at L.A.'s Musexpo, to be featured in London's TNT Magazine Annual Month of Music and to support international superstars like Macy Gray, Jewel and Tori Amos.
Instead he decided to walk the independent path on his successful solo debut mini-album Heavy Soul Part One, and is now set for international success with his upcoming full length album I Believe.
