Steve Kilbey
Steve Kilbey is the singer, bassist and main lyricist of the legendary Australian band, “The Church”. Over the span of more than two decades, Kilbey has been one of the most prolific songwriters of our generations.
His own creative musical tally outside of The Church includes six solo albums and numerous collaborative projects and production credits.
“Painkiller” marks Kilbey's first solo album in seven years and has received critical acclaim. Painkiller is vast and immediate, lyrically intoxicating, musically loose and rocking or spacious and trippy. It swings from delicate Psychedelic Pop songs to radiotronic Space Rock monsters.
