Stephen Teakle
Stephen Teakle is a talented Australian pianist, musical director, tour manager, and producer. He has performed with Australian music legends including Paul Kelly, Neil Murray and Archie Roach. Stephen was musical director and pianist for Deborah Conway’s Broad tour from 2005 to 2008, starring Australian singing sensations Clare Bowditch, Katie Noonan, Sara Storer and Ruby Hunter. He currently performs and records as pianist, organist and accordionist for Sara Storer, Melinda Schnieder, Ross Hanaford, Chris Wilson, Andy Baylor, Neil Murray, The Putbacks, Brunswick Blues Shooters, and the Dancehall Racketeers.
Stephen has worked as pianist and tour manger for the Australian Art Orchestra, Queensland Music Festival and Melbourne International Arts Festival. Other festivals Stephen has been involved in include the Adelaide Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Darwin Festival and the Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival.
An experienced media personality, Stephen has appeared on international and Australian television including Good News Week, Good Morning Australia, CNN America, and ABC local radio in Australia.
