Brian Noonan

Brian has had an outstanding career as a journalist working with various newspapers including The Sydney Morning Herald, ABC radio and television in Sydney and Brisbane and subsequently Public Relations Officer for the RAAF and army in Queensland.

He has combined his journalist career with his hobby of singing and has performed as house vocalist on Channel 7's (Brisbane) Tristram's House Party and Channel 9 (Brisbane), in various cabaret shows, on radio, in Six O'Clock Rock, Bandstand and on ABC television including presenting, I'm an Old Cow Hand in the style of Bing Crosby.

After marrying Maggie Cummings, whom he met on Hector Crawford’s Showcase in1968, Brian performed in classical concerts as soloist and in duets with Maggie. His journalism has kept him very busy in the latter years and he has been the constant supporter for his family.
